I do more pattern on a transparent sheet, different colors / bigger pattern. i choose transparent sheet because it's character of clearness is like water and it can also be overlapped on anything to create new pattern.
I put these pattern on to another picture to show the concept of "beauty addicted+illusion" i tried with many color and match them with the content of the picture to make it goes along well together the most.
all the pattern arranging as one large pattern. give the feeling of movement of water surface.
Capturing the texture of water surface with nail polish makes me think of beauty addicted person. It creates the distorted/abstract pattern which is somehow like an illusion caused by drug addiction. I compare beauty addicted to drug addicted because both can be more and more once you try it. Like woman first polish her nails, then it seems to move on to other part of body… woman later make up her face and so on…
In this case.. nail polish creates distorted pattern on water surface which can be interpret in the other way that texture on water surface is like an illusion, you can see but you can’t touch!

drop color on soaked paper and let the water flow the color away it makes the color trail along with the flowing of it. you can see direction of it via color.
